As the Valkyrie moon rises, you are invited to travel to the FAR NORTH and feast to the breaking of winters long cold. Come share in the joy of a return to warmer days full of travel and fellowship

This will once again be a potluck feast where the Shire will provide the meat/fish dishes. We ask only that you bring a side dish and your coin purse as we will be bringing back the dessert auction to benefit the Kingdom Travel fund. There will be both a chess tournament and a cribbage tournament as well as great fellowship, old and new faces, and maybe some dancing and music.

Adult Event Registration: $10
Adult Member Discount Event Registration: $5
Children 15 and under Event Registration: free

Anticipated schedule:
9:00 a.m. Site opens
10:00 a.m. Chess and cribbage challenges begin
12:30 p.m. Dessert auction (1)
3:00 p.m. Potluck feast
6:00 p.m. Site closes
Court will occur at the pleasure of His Majesty.

Additionally, THL Andreas von Meißen has generously offered his time for heraldic consultation during the day!

(1) payments for gate and the dessert auction must be cash or check (payable to SCA, Inc. Shire of Plattefordham)– credit cards will not be accepted.
(2) please ensure a list of ingredients for your dish is available at the table. 3×5 cards and writing implements will be available on-site, if needed.
