The Kingdom Minister of Arts & Sciences (KMoAS) serves as the principal officer responsible for fostering and promoting the study, practice, and teaching of the medieval and Renaissance arts and sciences within the Kingdom. This includes both research and hands-on creation in a wide range of disciplines, from historical crafts and performing arts to scholarly research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Encourage and support A&S activities at all levels of the Kingdom.
- Oversee the administration of A&S competitions, displays, and educational events, including Kingdom-level competitions and the Kingdom A&S Collegium.
- Coordinate with local and regional MoAS officers to ensure consistent reporting and support.
- Submit regular reports to the Society MoAS and the Crown on the state of A&S in the Kingdom.
- Recognize and promote excellence and authenticity in the arts and sciences.
- Serve as an advisor to the Crown and Kingdom Officers on A&S matters.
