March saw normal Citadel activities (archery, A&S, fighting, choir, clothiers guild and cooks guild), but with a marked focus on preparing for May Day and Hastilude, as both have assigned autocrats. Weekly baronial activities remain well-attended and steady.
To our outgoing Chatelain, Lord Esteban de Leon. We wish him fair winds and following seas as he leaves for the Navy. Lady Angelica will take the helm in this critical position.
The Barony is preparing for a smooth transition of Archery Captain, with Lord James finalizing turnover to Lady Jessica, current Archery Champion. On a related Archery note, the Barony recently demo’d at the City’s Poppies Fest 2018 and brought the SCA to over 4,000 El Paso residents.

Fighter Practice is going great. Thorgrim is doing a great job as our new Knight Marshall.
I have asked the Populace to consider contacting an officer for an office that they would be interested in to find out what the job entails. I further urged them to step up as a deputy if they would like to to build a depth in our Officer Corps. I further urged Officers to read their Kingdom and Society manuals and create a local summary or book for others to use.
Fontaine dans Sable - Seneschal: Adriana Lopes de Rodas
March was quiet in Fontaine. Weekly Medieval Muster continued. Members traveled to Crown Tournament and Siege of the City for fantastic events.
To make Populace Meeting more accessible to the people of the barony, we are moving it back to Wednesdays. It will be held the first Wednesday of May. However, no consistent site has been secured. The site for May Populace is Lord Bogdan’s home from 6-8. It is potluck, with Officer’s Meeting at 6:30 and Populace at 7:00.
Medieval Muster continues to be on Tuesdays for the time being. We will continue to meet at Sunrise Church’s multi-purpose room from 6-8pm.
Fontaine’s new website is up and running. Lady Wyolet is amazing. She is almost finished moving information from the old site to the new one. The new site is fontaine.outlands.org
