I thought I would kickoff the woodworking section with a link to an article in Scared Spaces on building a simple, authentic, and extremely useful small chest. If you haven't seen Syr Arlof's issues of Sacred Spaces, check them out (www.currentmiddleages.org/tents/toc.htm)! The article is based on a chest I built for an early Outland's A&S competition. While the small chest is very easy to make and transport, the "two-seater" version has its own virtues, especially by a campfire on cold nights with a warm campion. I have seen a number of excellent variations at Pennsic and other events, and described in online articles (referencing the original article, thank you!). The link is: www.currentmiddleages.org/tents/chest4simple.pdf
