Hello Outlands Scholars!
Since the launching of the ROIU's online class option, I've taken a lot of amazing classes, but these are particularly good. (I will likely add to this list as I take more.)
* Anti-Brewing Vinegar -
I have to go make vinegars now
*History of Goldwork Embroidery -
She did a great job differentiating Opus Anglicanum and Or Nue, and describing modern gold threads that create similar effects.
* The Very Secret Sex Lives of Medieval Women - www.facebook.com/groups/2363508143953269...nk/2369293976708019/
Omg she's adorable!
* History of Divination in Western Europe - www.facebook.com/groups/virtualsca/permalink/704520496952404/
I have to go make an SCA-themed Luck Book now.
* How to Mount a Horse in Armour -
He's a museum curator, not an SCA'er, but it's full of hilarious academic smack talk.
* Shakespeare on Toast - www.youtube.com/user/shakespeareontoast/videos
Ben Crystal on why Shakespeare probably sounded like a pirate.
* History of Salons in Renaissance Florence -
Why we're actually more period than we thought we were.
* Building Teamwork: SCA Volunteers -
Excellent advice and well presented.
* Decorative Edges of Lengberg -
I have to go make sprang now.
* Heraldic Myths and Misconceptions - anchor.fm/scaunipod/episodes/Heraldic-My...isconceptions-edj275
Don't fear the Heralds! Plus a shout out to our beloved Uji.
The Midrealm's RUM has a YouTube channel with lots of interesting classes. Here is where you can see most of their FaceBook Event classes if you don't have a FB account.

Enjoy! Which classes have you found exceptionally fun or useful? Please share. I might want to take them too.
Cheers,
Morgan
