Event Description: Join us at the beautiful Holy Cross Abbey in Canon City, Colorado for Spring Coronation. The site is a former monastery located about 35 miles west of I-25 at Pueblo on US-50 at an elevation of 5330 feet. The Abbey features Gothic and Tudor style facades in a setting of green lawns and trees. We have the abbey with the chapel and many small gathering rooms as well as the extensive grounds available.

Working around the court schedule will be a Faire Environment. Shires, Baronies, Households and Guilds will be encouraged to set up booths with opportunities to teach classes, provide entertainment, etc. The jewelers, lampworkers, equestrians, bookbinders and scribes have confirmed they will be attending. Merchants will be there as well. The Battlemoor autocrats will host a meeting. If anyone else wishes to reserve meeting space, please contact the event steward and she will do whatever she needs to make your meeting/demo/sales booth/donation lunch etc. a success.

The Abbey has limited double occupancy twin bed rooms available starting at $41/night. They will also open the field house to people who wish to camp indoors with showers and bathrooms for $8.50/night. RV hookups begin at $15/night. Contact the Abbey directly for these details at 719-275-8631. There are also hotels in the immediate vicinity, ranging from 1950's style holiday motels to a Quality Inn, a Super 8, a Best Western and a Hampton Inn. If you are required to attend as either a kingdom officer, visiting royalty or territorial baron/ baroness, please contact the event steward before making hotel arrangements.

The Abbey will allow food from offsite to be served outdoors. They, in consultation with Mistress Liepa, are creating the evening feast. Details will be posted as they become available.
