Winter Feast

This year’s Winter’s Feast is being held in Carbondale, CO in the beautiful Rocky Mountains just outside of Glenwood Springs, CO. So consider coming up for a weekend and enjoy the local winter activities and the hot springs this area offers. Some crash space is available on a first come first served basis. -Bardic Competition-Come and showcase your talents for singing, instruments, storytelling, and dancing. Prizes will be awarded by populace choice to the most popular of performers.

-Period Foodie Competition: There will be a prize for the tastiest period dish, so pull out those old recipes and enter your dish when you sign in at the gate. Please provide name, region, time period and any interesting facts about your dish. Please list all ingredients for those with food sensitivities/allergies.

-Those who wish to join can take part in an A&S display and populace choice competition, so bring a period arts or science project and share your hard work. Please provide a short write up presenting some history related to your project.
Our Shire will share our talents with the Challenge of 5, by creating 5 objects to improve personal adornment, or camp appearance/camp functions. Prizes will be the first choice of these treasures. The remaining items will be given out by the drawing of lots.
