About the Competition

Well thought out projects that include documentation and displays as well as artisans interested in hearty discussion is expected of each entrant. The competition criteria is based on how closely your project or process would fit into the Pre-1600’s era it has been derived from. This does not necessarily mean the exact reproduction of a specific artifact, but it does include showing your knowledge and or ability to reproduce the skills, styles, design choices and materials of that time period. Show the known world what you know about the specific era you are working from!

“Art completes what nature cannot bring to finish. The artist gives us knowledge of nature’s unrealized ends.”

Aristotle

Entrants that may wish to strive at competing for the kingdom champion will be required to enter 3 complete projects that encompass a minimum of two categories. The winner of this competition will be competing with others for the year long title of Arts and Sciences Champion of the Outlands!

Remember that you are welcome to enter up to three objects without competing for Champion. Artisans are encouraged to bring the best of the best to highlight their skill and knowledge for the kingdom to see.
