I'm thinking it's probably in Asia, not Europe?

There were more archers on the field at Mohi (Hungarians v Mongols 1241) than Crecy, Poitiers, and Azincourt combined. About 20,000-30,000, since every Mongol was an archer.

The Battle of Ankara has to be a contender. Tatars v the Turks in the 15th century. About 140,000 Tatar horse archers on one side, about 70,000 Turkish horse archers on the other. The Tatars were victorious.
